Job summary

Astranis Space Technologies Corp. is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the design and delivery of our custom FPGA-based software defined radios for GEO space telecommunications.

You will supervise cradle-to-grave hardware development, from architecture to RTL, in a fast-paced, space-grade environment. Ideal candidates have led small teams, designed high-speed mixed-signal hardware, and managed PCB design for complex payloads, with a focus on reliability, radiation-tolerant FPGA systems, and

Qualifications

• B.S. or higher in electrical or computer engineering, or similar technical degree.
• 8+ years of professional experience in mixed-signal and high-speed digital hardware design, including FPGAs and high speed data converters.
• 8+ years of PCB-level experience from concept through production.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of electrical engineers to design software defined radios for space.
• Oversee PCBAs with compute, high speed I/O, data converters, and power distribution.
• Architect ultra high-speed mixed signal systems integrated with spacecraft payloads.
• Drive continuous technical innovation and industry expertise.
