Job summary

Loop is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a cross-functional product team and drive the technical direction, delivery, and health of initiatives. You will partner with product and design to build high-quality software in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

You’ll own the team roadmap, embrace AI-driven planning, and ensure accountable, transparent delivery. This role requires empathy, strong communication, and a focus on Loop’s values across the organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing high-performing, product-focused software engineering teams in SaaS/startup environments.
• Hands-on software engineering background with architectural decision-making experience.
• Experience using AI agents to optimize team output and project planning.
• Strong grasp of Agile software principles, especially SCRUM.
• Proven ability to balance priorities and communicate with stakeholders.
• Known for building trust through clear communication and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow an autonomous, high-performing engineering team with coaching and clear expectations.
• Own shipping and logistics domain end-to-end incl. carrier integrations and label generation.
• Own team technical direction, backlog priorities, and delivery processes with input from team and stakeholders.
• Champion AI adoption; set expectations and review AI-generated work rigorously.
• Enforce TDD, SOLID, and sustainable delivery practices.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to shape roadmap and communicate decisions clearly.
• Foster accountability, visibility, and healthy communication across team and stakeholders.
• Champion Loop’s mission and values through leadership and everyday interactions.
