Job summary

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead facility and work process improvements to meet demanding customer requirements in semiconductor and automotive sectors.

You will manage capital deployment, manufacturing engineering, process development and product scale-up, developing roadmaps, and transferring new products to manufacturing with a strong focus on quality and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent with >15 years of relevant experience, or MS with >11 years.
• Minimum 10 years leading teams and resource management.
• Experience in new product development and scale-up.
• Direct experience with semiconductor customer interactions.
• Strong knowledge of process controls and DCS.
• Experience driving maintenance excellence/preventive maintenance.
• Strong verbal and written communications; self-managing and proactive.
• Demonstrated leadership in personnel development and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

• Capitalize planning to meet unit goals and prioritize capital projects.
• Execute capital program and ensure proposals align with strategy.
• Manage costs related to capex, expenses and depreciation.
• Identify risks and develop mitigations to protect operations.
• Provide competency and promote best financial practices.
• Provide daily plant support for troubleshooting deviations.
• Lead programs to improve yield and reduce scrap.
• Define continuous improvement roadmaps for capability and cost.
