Job summary

Element Solutions, through its MAES segment, seeks an Engineering Manager to lead manufacturing improvements for semiconductor and automotive capacities. You will drive capital projects, improve process capability, ensure safety and quality, and lead cross-functional teams across manufacturing and engineering.

The role emphasizes capital management, process development, and collaboration with customers and stakeholders to achieve project milestones and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience building teams and leading employees through resource management and project prioritization.
• Experience in new product development and scale-up of products and processes.
• Customer interactions and expectations of semiconductor industry.
• Knowledge of process controls and distributed control systems.
• Maintenance excellence/preventive maintenance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital planning to meet business unit goals and prioritize projects.
• Oversee execution of the capital program and ensure alignment with strategy.
• Manage costs (CAPEX, depreciation, period expenses).
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Provide plant support for troubleshooting deviations and issues.
• Lead efforts to improve first-pass yield and reduce scrap.
• Define and implement continuous improvement roadmaps to improve capability, yield, capacity and product cost.
• Drive SPC review processes and reduce variation.
• Develop automation recipes and control strategies for new products.
