Job summary

Infisical Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead 10–12 engineers across Secrets Management and Certificate Management. You will drive delivery, hire and develop engineers, and shape priorities with a focus on security, reliability, and developer velocity.

You’ll work closely with the CTO and Tech Leads to review code and designs, ensuring high-quality artifacts while empowering engineers to own their work. This role is primarily remote with a San Francisco presence.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in people management.
• Proven track record building high-performing teams and technical leaders.
• Experience leading multiple workstreams and driving execution through others.
• Hands-on engineering background with ability to review production code and designs.
• Strong fundamentals in system architecture, reliability, and security tradeoffs.
• Excellent communication, including direct collaboration with customers.

Responsibilities

• Own engineering delivery across Secrets Management and Certificate Management teams, ensuring high-quality commitments.
• Hire, onboard, and develop engineers; build and mentor Tech Leads.
• Shape priorities balancing customer needs, product work, and security investments.
• Drive reliability, observability, incident response, and operational quality improvements.
• Review technical designs and guide architecture with Tech Leads on critical decisions.
• Engage with customers to understand workflows and translate insights into priorities.
• Improve team operations with lightweight processes for fast, predictable execution.
