Job summary

Infisical is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead 10–12 engineers across Secrets Management and Certificate Management, driving delivery and ensuring secure, reliable infrastructure for cloud, on-prem, and air-gapped environments.

You will shape priorities, mentor engineers, and work closely with the CTO and Tech Leads while staying hands-on when needed. You’ll translate customer insights into actionable engineering plans and improve team operations for velocity and quality.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years managing engineers.
• Strong track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
• Experience leading multiple engineering workstreams.
• Hands-on engineering background with production code reviews.
• Strong fundamentals in system architecture, reliability, and tradeoffs.
• Excellent communication, including with customers.
• Bias toward action and fast, high-quality delivery.
• Based in the US or Canada (NYC preferred).

Responsibilities

• Own engineering delivery across Secrets Management and Certificate Management.
• Hire, onboard, coach, and develop engineers; build Tech Leads.
• Shape engineering priorities balancing customer needs, security, and reliability.
• Own reliability, observability, incident response, and operational quality.
• Stay technically involved: review designs and guide architecture with Tech Leads.
• Work directly with customers to understand workflows and translate into priorities.
• Improve team operations with lightweight, fast, accountable processes.
