Job summary

Coinbase is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Market Data & Analytics team within the Institutional product group. You will lead a team delivering real-time market data and analytics platforms powering trading systems, with ownership of index pricing, data ingestion, and low-latency feeds.

You will drive technical strategy, hire and grow engineers, and collaborate with Product, Design, and other engineering teams to ship features with high correctness and uptime.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years managing engineering teams building high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems.
• Deep fluency in systems design, streaming/data pipelines, and at least one backend language.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical roadmap for market data and analytics domain.
• Lead and grow a team of engineers through coaching and career development.
• Partner with Product, Design, and cross-functional teams to scope and ship features.
• Drive data accuracy, reliability, and performance for market data feeds.
