Technology Recruiting Solutions in Tulsa, OK seeks an experienced Engineering Manager / Project Manager to lead a multidisciplinary engineering and design team on capital projects in industrial environments. This hands-on leader will develop people while staying close to project execution, influencing team growth and organizational success.

The role emphasizes balancing people leadership with active project management, ensuring QA/QC and adherence to codes.

Qualifications

PE license in Oklahoma is required or can be obtained via reciprocity.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or closely related discipline.
Approximately 10+ years of progressive engineering experience including leading engineers/designers.
Experience delivering capital projects in EPC, engineering consulting, or similar environments.
Experience in energy, industrial, manufacturing, or process-controlled settings.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers.
Manage multiple capital projects from scope development to construction and closeout.
Oversee project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and resource allocation.
Coordinate with clients, project teams, and discipline leads throughout the lifecycle.
Ensure engineering quality per codes, standards, and QA/QC requirements.
Stay actively involved in project management while guiding the team.
Assist with resource planning, recruiting, and organizational growth.
