Job summary

Alloy is seeking an Engineering Manager for Product Security in New York City. You will lead a team of Application and Cloud Security engineers, driving secure product delivery and risk management across infrastructure and software.

Reporting to the VP of Infrastructure & Security, you’ll mentor engineers, guide security reviews, manage the backlog, and coordinate with auditors and clients. A proven product security leader is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• 8+ years of work experience in Application Security, Cloud Security, or Platform Security.
• Security certifications preferred: CISM, CISSP, AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Security Specialty.
• Knowledge of PCI-DSS, ISO 27001/27002, SOC 2, NIST CSF, CIS Benchmarks, etc.
• Experience with security tooling and processes across network, system, and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Mentor a team of Application Security and Cloud Security engineers.
• Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Alloy systems and data.
• Lead security reviews for new and ongoing initiatives.
• Manage security backlog and vendor relationships.
• Engage with clients, auditors, and during security assessments.
• Lead threat modeling and tabletop exercises.
• Oversee vulnerability management and incident response planning.
