You will mentor engineering leaders, standardize processes, and collaborate with diverse teams to deliver secure, compliant production products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other related technical discipline.
• 5 years of relevant cybersecurity engineering experience.
• 2 years of experience managing a team of engineers.
• Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline (preferred).
• 10 years of relevant cybersecurity engineering experience (preferred).
• 5 years of experience managing a team of engineers (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of product safety and security engineering activities across Gentex production products.
• Set the vision for the product safety and security engineering team in alignment with organizational objectives.
• Recruit, train, retain, and manage performance of engineering staff.
• Mentor and coach engineering leaders to optimize performance across teams.
• Drive strategy and ongoing improvement of product safety and security engineering methods and processes.
• Standardize product safety and security engineering processes for ongoing production success.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure project success.
• Manage relationships with contract software development companies and staff augmentation contracts.
• Other duties as assigned.
