Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. is seeking an experienced engineering leader to plan, direct, and coordinate the engineering department to design, manufacture, test components, and tooling, ensuring projects meet schedule and budget.

You will supervise staff, approve designs, manage procurements for tooling and external services, and drive continuous improvement using CMMS, lean methods, and metrology tools such as calipers and micrometers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or seven years related experience.
• Six Sigma, SPC certifications are listed; Lean Management preferred but not required.
• Blueprint reading and measurement tools knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Directs the engineering department to design, modify and test products and tooling.
• Provides cost estimates for production parts.
• Ensures projects progress on schedule and within budgets.
• Approves design changes and drawing releases.
• Directs purchasing for tooling and outside services.
• Uses CMMS to reduce unplanned downtime and optimize performance.
