Qualifications

8+ years of engineering experience.
Proven track record scaling engineering teams and delivering complex software.

Balance technical depth with strategic leadership.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management.
Experience in a matrix organization with direct and dotted lines.
Background in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid).
Familiarity with platform engineering and DX tooling.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop engineers across multiple teams.
Define technical strategy with architecture and product leadership.
Drive scalable, secure, high‑quality systems aligned to business goals.
Champion engineering practices, code quality, observability, and DevOps maturity.
Modernize tech, reduce technical debt, and simplify architecture.
Establish KPIs for engineering performance and reliability.
Oversee cross‑functional collaboration with Product, Design, Data, Security, and Infra.
Communicate decisions and trade‑offs clearly to executives; manage risks.
