Job summary

Versana in Raleigh seeks an Engineering Manager to lead multiple engineering teams, drive technical strategy, and deliver high‑impact software platforms. You will partner with Product, Architecture, Data, and Security to mature practices, mentor managers and engineers, and champion automation, observability, and DevOps maturity for reliable delivery.

Qualifications

8+ years of engineering experience
Proven track record scaling engineering teams and delivering complex systems
Strong technical foundation in software architecture and cloud technologies
Experience in modern development practices, DevOps, and observability
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
Background in Agile environments—Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid
Familiarity with platform engineering and developer tooling

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop engineering managers, tech leads, and ICs across multiple teams
Define technical strategy in partnership with product and architecture
Champion engineering best practices, observability, automation, and DevOps maturity
Oversee architecture modernization and reduction of technical debt
Monitor KPIs for engineering performance, quality, and reliability
Collaborate with Product, Design, Data, Security, and Infrastructure teams
