Job summary

Asana is seeking an empathetic and technically experienced Engineering Manager to lead the Authorization team in our San Francisco office. You’ll advocate for engineering best practices, balance velocity with quality, and hire and grow engineers while partnering with Design and Product to deliver high-impact features.

Based in SF with a hybrid schedule (in-office Mon Tue Thu; optional Wed; Fri depending on work), you’ll drive the roadmap, mentor engineers, and ensure a reliable global user

Qualifications

• 4+ years managing a technical team and ability to deep dive on technical issues.
• Collaborate with Design and Product on large features and daily enhancements.
• Experience rolling out high leverage platform investments.
• Focus on maximizing impact for team, Asana, and the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage and enable the growth of engineers on the team.
• Hire engineers and scale the team effectively.
• Articulate and execute the team roadmap aligned to business goals.
• Coach engineers in technical and professional development.
