Job summary

EnerSys in the United States seeks an Engineering Manager to direct Plant Engineering across multiple locations, including Richmond, KY. You will manage capital projects, facilities, and maintenance/tooling to improve throughput and quality.

You will collaborate with EHS to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, drive continuous improvement initiatives (EOS, RIE, 5S, TPM, Six Sigma), and lead the plant technical staff across PLC, robotic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in a technical field.
• Five or more years in environmental compliance.
• Five+ years in project management for plant engineering.
• Experience managing capital projects from $10K to >$10M.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant project engineers and maintenance staff.
• Oversee capital projects and annual budget.
• Ensure facilities compliance and environmental requirements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to improve throughput and quality.
• Work with EHS to maintain regulatory compliance.
