Job summary

Commure is hiring an Engineering Manager for the Revenue Cycle Management team. You will lead ~6 engineers responsible for the money-in path—from insurer payment through ledger, reconciliations, and patient balance reporting.

You will hire, coach, and ship outcomes while setting technical direction and ensuring reliability. You will work closely with claims, denials, and financial reporting teams to keep balances accurate and trustworthy.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience managing software engineers (5–8+ engineers) in backend-heavy systems.
• Track record shipping and operating financial, payments, billing, reconciliation, or collections systems in production.
• Strong technical judgment on large databases and complex business rules to unblock escalations.
• Experience partnering with operations or customer-facing teams when correctness and clear explanations matter.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Engineering team responsible for the Revenue Cycle Management payment path from insurer payment to ledger on books.
• Hire, coach, and grow engineers; set technical direction and unblock hard problems.
• Balance roadmap delivery with reliability and correct balances; ensure alignment with financial reporting.
