Chicago Metallic is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead engineering, maintenance, and tool room functions in a on-site facility located in Humboldt, TN. You will oversee capital projects, drive improvements in safety and efficiency, and lead a team of engineers, technicians, and machinists to optimize stamping operations.

The role reports to the Plant Manager and requires strong leadership, project management, and technical expertise in industrial controls, automation, and tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Experience in industrial engineering with focus on process optimization and project management in metal stamping.
• Ability to interpret drawings and schematics to troubleshoot equipment.
• Knowledge of industrial controls including PLCs and robotics.

Responsabilités

• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, machinists, and maintenance technicians.
• Allocate resources effectively to support production and project goals.
• Ensure equipment meets OSHA and manufacturer safety standards.
• Plan and manage capital and preventive maintenance budgets.
• Lead industrial engineering projects to on-time and within-budget completion.
• Drive continuous improvement through best practices and innovation.
• Oversee stamping dies development and troubleshooting for production.
• Manage Tool Room staffing, scheduling, and capability development.
• Ensure equipment delivers quality products and processes.
