Job summary

JCB North America is seeking a Senior Vehicle Integration Engineer for the Access division in San Antonio, TX. You will be the technical authority for machine-level integration across AWP platforms, leading architecture, DFMEAs, and validation activities.

The role partners with structures, hydraulics, electrical, controls, software, and validation teams to ensure safe, reliable, and producible designs. Relocation to the U.S.

Qualifications

• Must have strong engineering background in AWP or off-highway machinery.
• Experience with system architecture, DFMEAs and integration troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of ANSI, CSA, CE, ISO standards for machinery.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across hydraulics, electrics, controls.
• Experience with prototype builds and machine validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the complete vehicle integration strategy for boom and scissor AWP platforms.
• Oversee system architecture reviews, DFMEAs, safety assessments and regulatory alignment.
• Collaborate with structures, hydraulics, electrical, controls, software, and validation teams.
• Oversee prototype builds, commissioning, and integration debugging.
• Mentor engineers on integration principles and contribute to standards.
