Job summary

Integer Technologies is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team focused on digital and systems engineering for next-generation naval power systems. Based in Columbia, SC, you will set technical strategy, mentor engineers, and collaborate with sponsors and partners to advance MBSE and model-based decision making.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Electrical Engineering, other Engineering, or a related technical field
• 8+ years of systems engineering experience in system design or operations
• 3+ years of people leadership, supervisory, or management experience
• 2+ years of MBSE experience in system design or operations
• Strong experience applying MBSE, SysML, or other computational architecture frameworks to complex engineering problems
• Clear writing and briefing skills, including senior military and executive audiences

Responsibilities

• Lead the branch and manage a cross-functional engineering team across the program lifecycle.
• Set the SE standard; write policies and guidance for scalable, traceable, and rigorous research workflows.
• Speed up design decisions by developing SE tools and automation for the Navy design and acquisition community.
• Deliver model-based decision support to test power system options against mission performance.
• Lead development of digital engineering, MBSE, and decision-support capabilities for defense systems.
• Collaborate with project leads, partners, sponsors, and program managers to resolve issues quickly.
