Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated seeks an Engineering Manager to oversee internal and external product development for the SolidTron line. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team spanning mechanical, firmware, electrical, manufacturing, and test engineering to enhance automation and production capacity.

You will work closely with Product Management, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure accurate costing, timely delivery, and compliant documentation across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Materials, or related field).
• 5+ years of experience managing engineering teams and project management experience.
• 5+ years of experience goal setting, evaluating staff performance and conducting staff reviews.
• SolidWorks or equivalent CAD proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage diverse cross-functional engineering teams across a broad spectrum of deliverables.
• Set measurable goals aligned to product group objectives.
• Schedule and prioritize engineering resources for internal and external products.
• Support Product Management and Business Development in customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Management on product and material costing.
• Track material and human resource costs for projects.
• Coordinate with Test and Assembly groups to optimize processes.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure designs and documentation are current.
• Participate in qualification, validation, and certification activities.
