Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee internal and external product development for the SolidTron lineup. You will lead a multi-discipline team spanning mechanical, firmware, electrical, manufacturing and test engineering to deliver high‑quality, reliable test equipment.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's in engineering, 5+ years of people management, and hands-on CAD/SAP experience in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Materials or related).
• 5+ years leading engineering teams and managing projects.
• 5+ years goal setting and staff performance reviews.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years with SAP or tiered MRP systems.
• Background in electrical engineering preferred; power electronics desirable.
• Strong leadership and reporting skills; proficient MS Excel and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a diverse, cross-functional group of engineers across multiple deliverables.
• Set measurable team and individual goals aligned to product objectives.
• Schedule and prioritize engineering resources for internal and external work.
• Support Product Management and Business Development in customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Operations on costing.
• Track material and personnel costs for engineering projects.
• Coordinate with Test, Assembly and Supply Chain to ensure current designs and documentation.
• Lead qualification, validation and certification activities.
