Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking an experienced engineering leader to plan and direct the organization’s engineering activities, developing goals, policies and procedures with broad latitude for creativity.

The role requires staying abreast of industry developments in manufacturing and product design, coordinating with multiple engineering disciplines and with manufacturing/logistics, and acting as a liaison across management levels to communicate decisions and performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline required as a minimum.
• Technical coordination with various engineering disciplines.
• Familiarization with various engineering software packages used for modeling.
• Position will require coordination with manufacturing and logistics.
• Some travel is required.
• Experience with design and build of space flight hardware (preferred).
• Space Launch System experience and Artemis requirements (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Plans and directs the engineering activities of the organization by performing the duties personally or through subordinate managers.
• Develops, implements and monitors goals, policies, practices and procedures; broad latitude for creativity.
• Directs and monitors department managers to accomplish goals of the manufacturing plan; ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Liaises with executive and department managers to inform on decisions, policies and performance.
• Interacts with outside customers and cross-functional teams to coordinate projects and exchange information.
