Checkr is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Mortgage Verifications Team, partnering with product managers to build features and improve the platform for millions of users. You will drive technical decisions, mentor engineers, and shape the architecture to support fast, safe product delivery.

You will own prioritization, manage quality incidents as both a technical lead and communications lead, and foster inclusive, high-performing teams while aligning with business and regulatory needs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years as an software engineer.
• 4+ years as engineering manager.
• Experience with scalable, regulated products and data privacy.

Responsibilities

• Define technical vision for the team that motivates and inspires the team for the next chapter
• Partner closely with product management to build new features and enhance existing ones
• Work with the team to reduce technical debt and scale architecture
• Build relationships with customers and drive results with them
