Job summary

Ritz-Craft is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Design and Engineering Team from concept through production. You will coordinate 2D/3D CAD/BIM shop drawings, mentor staff, and drive project delivery across locations.

Responsibilities include KPI management, rapid response for customer demands, and collaboration with internal teams and external partners. A strong modular construction background and CAD/BIM proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in modular industry with knowledge of architectural and commercial building practices.
• 4+ years directly managing design/engineering teams.
• Knowledge of modular systems and architectural design.
• Knowledge of the manufacturing process.
• 6+ years hands-on CAD software experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD and other design software for cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of Architecture, Architectural Drafting, Engineering Technology, Fabrication or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.
• Leadership to build effective teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Outlook).
• 3D modeling knowledge preferred; BIM workflow a plus; ERP workflow understanding a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead communications on behalf of the engineering team.
• Manage KPIs to meet customer demands.
• Develop high performing staff with integrity and collaboration across locations.
• Develop and implement quick response capabilities to satisfy Ritz-Craft demands.
• Maintain Master Engineering Calendar for all submittals and drawings.
• Establish and manage relationships with 3rd party services.
• Collaborate with 3rd party design and regulatory professionals.
• Oversee CAD/BIM shop drawings and standards for the team.
• Ensure Ritz-Craft design and production standards are followed.
