Job summary

nTop seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the Modeling & Rendering team, owning implicit modeling technology and tools used to create, modify, and visualize models. The role oversees a senior, distributed team across Europe and the US, focusing on AI-assisted development and a transition toward a multi-surface product.

You will collaborate with a Product Manager to turn roadmaps into engineering plans, drive decision-making, and ensure timely delivery across multiple workstreams, including

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing software engineers.
• Background in graphics, geometry, or closely adjacent computational field.
• Fluency in C++, with Rust experience a strong plus.
• Track record of structured project management across many concurrent topics.
• Demonstrated adoption of AI-assisted development in a team you led.
• Experience managing a distributed team across US and European time zones.

Responsibilities

• Coach a team of experts, tailoring support and giving direct feedback.
• Bring structure to a wide topic mix across implicit modeling, rendering, UI, and AI integration.
• Set operating tempo to accelerate development and adopt AI-assisted methods.
• Engage technically with implicit math, GPU rendering, and kernel architecture.
• Be the PM's partner by turning roadmap into engineering plans and decisions.
• Deliver the transition: modernize rendering pipeline and launch AI-assisted generation features.
