nTopology seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the Modeling & Rendering team, the core of our implicit modeling technology and the tools engineers use to create, modify, and visualize models—whether built by hand or generated with AI tools. The role spans coordinating across Europe and the US, guiding engineers, and shaping how modeling flows into CAD/PLM ecosystems.

The team is senior, highly specialized, and distributed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing software engineers.
• Background in graphics/geometry; familiar with implicit geometry.
• Fluency in C++; Rust a plus.
• Structured project management across concurrent topics.
• Experience adopting AI-assisted development in a team you led.
• Experience managing a distributed team across US and European time zones.

Responsabilités

• Coach a team of experts and tailor support for each engineer.
• Bring structure to multiple workstreams: implicit modeling, rendering, UI, execution kernel, AI integration.
• Set operating tempo; reduce micro-delays, automate where possible, adopt AI-assisted development.
• Engage technically with implicit math, GPU rendering, or kernel architecture and challenge weak spots.
• Be PM’s partner: turn roadmap into engineering plans and own day-to-day technical calls.
• Deliver the transition: modernize rendering pipeline and launch AI-assisted model creation.
