Job summary

DoorDash is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Mobile Developer Experience team to set technical vision and nurture a culture that enables world-class mobile apps. You will lead ZeroKit development for rapid prototyping via agents, and oversee iOS and Android monorepos while partnering with senior engineers and stakeholders across the company to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on software development experience, with expertise in mobile platforms (Android or iOS).
• 3+ years leading engineering teams.
• Strong bias for action, pragmatic problem-solving, and deep technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain foundational components to enable DoorDash engineers to excel at mobile engineering.
• Lead the development and strategy for ZeroKit to enable rapid mobile prototyping via agents.
• Manage and optimize horizontal infrastructure pillars, specifically the iOS and Android monorepos.
• Champion data-informed decision-making and continuous improvement across the team.
• Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to drive long-term architectural direction and influence company-wide strategy.
• Guide the team through ambiguity, leveraging best practices while knowing when to break the mold.
• Communicate clearly with execs and across teams to map technical strategy.
