Job summary

Confluent Medical Technologies is seeking a Manager, Engineering to lead the Austin, TX engineering team. You will mentor engineers and technicians, assign resources to projects, and drive process development from concept to manufacturing validation for catheter products.

You will oversee plan and supervise process improvements, ensure on-time delivery, and manage budgets and capital. Leadership, Six Sigma, and strong communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in engineering or a related discipline with extensive leadership experience.
• Experience leading engineering teams and managing programs in medtech.
• Proven ability to drive process development from concept to manufacturing validation.

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor and provide career development support to engineers and technicians.
• Plan, assign and supervise process development for catheter products from pilot to high-volume production.
• Ensure on-time completion of technical activities and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Oversee budgeting, capital planning and resource allocation for projects.
• Provide input for equipment design, qualification and process improvements.
