Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on industry experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in precision machining or sheet metal fabrication.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct the engineering team to enforce safety policies and core values.
• Conduct regular 1-on-1s and performance reviews.
• Lead development and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate with production, quality, purchasing, design, and sales for cross-functional communication.
• Oversee part launches from concept to production to ensure on-time delivery.
• Work with sales and development engineering to integrate DFM into estimates and workflows.
• Facilitate new order review process.
• Present business cases for equipment purchases.
• Lead lean integration across process development and large-scale improvements.
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives and leadership meetings.
• Provide leadership to a team of 5+ engineers.
• Commit to 1–3 hours daily in cross-functional leadership meetings.
