Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Process Engineer for the Gas Processes Team in the United States. You will lead process engineering design for LNG and related facilities, spanning feasibility to commissioning, while mentoring junior engineers and ensuring quality.

The role requires a PE license and strong experience with process simulators. Relocation is eligible, with opportunities to work at our Overland Park, KS or Houston, TX offices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in LNG liquefaction design or operations.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
• Experience with process simulation tools and design standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering design of chemical facilities across LNG, carbon capture, hydrogen, fertilizers and more.
• Oversee project lifecycle from feasibility through commissioning.
• Mentor junior engineers and review work; ensure quality and budget adherence.
