Job summary

Rise Technical is seeking an Engineering Manager in Ohio to lead a compact engineering group, directing projects from design through to delivery while coordinating with Production and Service teams. The role offers a clear path to higher leadership, including potential General Manager progression.

You will work closely with the President and balance hands-on engineering with strategic department development, while overseeing capital equipment projects regularly valued over $1M.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an engineering team and aligning design with production goals.
• Strong background in machinery, capital equipment, or manufacturing engineering.
• Ambitious, hands-on and eager to progress into broader leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop a small team of Engineers and Service personnel.
• Take ownership of and help shape the engineering department.
• Provide technical guidance, review drawings and BOMs and solve complex engineering problems.
• Report directly to the President while working closely with Production, Service and the wider business.
