Job summary

Lear Corporation in Roscommon, MI is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead manufacturing engineering and maintenance teams, drive cost-efficient design, and ensure quality and safety standards.

You will oversee planning, capital projects, and vendor reviews while coordinating with staff, project managers, contractors, and corporate resources to meet KPI targets such as MTBF and MTTR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years in engineering in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of GMP, OSHA, NEC, and NFPA.
• Experience with Allen Bradley PLC and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate assigned functions and programs within the Engineering and Maintenance Department.
• Set goals, establish priorities, manage resources, and review progress.
• Utilize leading technology and standards to ensure quality and efficiency in projects.
• Oversee design and maintenance projects, equipment development, and process improvements.
