Nextek, Inc. is an electronics-focused EMS partner delivering precision assembly and engineering services for high-reliability products.

We seek an Engineering Leader to drive Product, Process, Test, and Programming initiatives and to own FactoryLogix MES configuration on the shop floor. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication with customers, and proven experience in complex, high-mix electronics programs.

Qualifications

• Extensive engineering experience in high-reliability electronics EMS.
• Experience leading engineers and technical teams while remaining hands-on.
• Working knowledge of PCB assembly, soldering, inspection, test, and conformal coating.
• Ability to review designs for DFM, assembly, and test risks.
• Experience supporting MES workflows and FactoryLogix configuration.
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer presentation skills.
• Direct FactoryLogix administration or implementation experience.
• Experience with complex, high-mix electronics programs and engineering changes.
• Familiarity with IPC workmanship standards and test development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and prioritize Product, Process, Test, and Programming Engineering.
• Interface with customers for design reviews and manufacturing concerns.
• Provide engineering support on manufacturing floor for SMT, backend, test, and conformal coating.
• Review designs for DFM and communicate recommendations for new products.
• Own engineering readiness for new/transferred products.
• Oversee FactoryLogix MES configuration and use.
• Coordinate with Ops/Quality/Supply Chain to resolve yield and schedule issues.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
