Job summary

Nextek, Inc. is a Huntsville, Alabama-based EMS company focused on precision electronic assemblies and high-reliability systems. The role leads engineering strategy, process development, and cross-functional execution to meet customer commitments and regulatory requirements.

You will oversee design-for-manufacturability, test strategy, and production-readiness for complex assemblies, while driving continuous improvement and safety compliance across facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree in a related technical field.
• 15+ years of manufacturing/engineering experience with 7+ years leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience leading NPI, design-for-manufacturability, and design-for-test for complex electronics.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute engineering strategy, staffing, and capital roadmap in alignment with growth and commitments.
• Lead manufacturing, process, test, and systems integration from quotation through sustaining production.
• Own test strategy, fixtures, diagnostics, data collection, and failure analysis.
• Ensure interfaces across mechanical, electrical, software, test, and manufacturing are controlled.
