Accelabrand in Reston, VA is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a diverse team of software and hardware engineers from concept to production, delivering high-quality and scalable products.

You will mentor and grow engineers, collaborate with Product and Design to define priorities and roadmaps, drive technical excellence and code quality, manage delivery timelines, address technical debt, and stay ahead of new technologies to guide architectural decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree inEngineering, CS, or a related field.
5+ years of engineering experience, including 2+ years in leadership.
Proven ability to manage and scale high-performing technical teams.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Experience with agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software/hardware engineers.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to define, prioritize, and deliver engineering initiatives.
Drive technical excellence, code quality, and best practices within the team.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.
Contribute to strategic planning, resource allocation, and roadmap development.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and high performance.
Identify and address technical debt, risks, and bottlenecks early in the development process.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends to guide the team in adopting appropriate solutions.
