Job summary

The role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, CAE tools, and the ability to mentor staff while coordinating cross-functional efforts and ensuring regulatory compliance. A US security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• 6+ years of engineering experience
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
• Understanding of engineering principles and practices
• Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools, analysis and simulation
• Ability to work in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
• Requires a current active US Secret Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of engineers and coordinate their activities to meet project goals and timelines
• Manage project budgets, including forecasting and tracking expenses
• Oversee the design, documentation, and approval processes for engineering projects
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Participate in management meetings, representing the engineering department
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to team members
• Coordinate training programs to develop the technical skills of the engineering team
• Present project updates and technical data to senior management and stakeholders
