This role focuses on talent development, delivery excellence, and built-in accountability across product, QA, Platform Engineering, Security, Data, and Operations to drive secure, scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate will empower teams, reduce technical debt, and advance AI-driven engineering practices while aligning engineering work with strategic company goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related degree.
• Minimum of 4 years as a Manager of a Software Engineering team.
• Spanish speaking, reading and writing is a must.
• Experience in developing within the Agile framework (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
• Proficiency in effective listening and communication.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

• Provide technical leadership ownership across enterprise applications, integrations, APIs, and cloud initiatives.
• Lead architecture and design discussions for strategic initiatives.
• Drive modernization efforts that improve scalability, maintainability, security, and reliability.
• Reduce technical debt and improve overall engineering maturity.
• Promote continuous improvement through modern engineering tools and practices.
• Partner with QA leadership to improve software quality and automation coverage.
• Improve reliability, resiliency, observability, and supportability across platforms.
• Lead root cause analysis and long-term corrective action efforts.
• Drive operational excellence and service reliability across Engineering teams.
• Align engineering priorities with company goals and strategic initiatives.
• Ensure engineering investments deliver measurable business value.
• Balance short-term delivery objectives with long-term technology investments.
• Communicate engineering strategy, risks, and results to executive leadership.
