Yext is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Knowledge Graph team in New York City. You will lead a team of software engineers, guiding architecture, design, and delivery while partnering with Product and Engineering leadership to translate priorities into executable plans.

You’ll foster a culture of high performance, coach engineers, and drive AI-assisted development practices, ensuring output is correct, secure, and maintainable.

Formación

• BA/BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent education.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 1+ years of team or technical leadership.
• Experience coaching engineers and providing feedback.
• Experience translating product priorities into technical plans.
• Ability to guide design decisions and evaluate tradeoffs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Track record of building healthy engineering teams with high quality.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools and evaluating their output.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop a team of software engineers with coaching and career growth support.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to translate priorities into actionable team plans.
• Own execution and delivery, set priorities, and manage work cadence.
• Create clarity by removing blockers and protecting engineers from churn.
• Maintain a strong technical understanding of systems and guide architecture and design.
• Uphold high engineering quality through thoughtful design reviews, testing, and operations.
• Coordinate with Product Engineering and company partners to deliver shared initiatives.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard engineers and improve onboarding experiences.
