Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a squad of software engineers, guiding development lifecycle and ensuring secure, scalable systems. You will review code for alignment with business needs, and provide strategic IT guidance to management.

You will collaborate with Product Owners and analysts to estimate effort, plan roadmaps, and drive DevOps practices with CI/CD and observability. The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and delivering high-quality software.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience developing technical solutions.
• Experience leading engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable software.
• Proven people leadership, stakeholder management, and Agile delivery experience.
• Strong experience with Java/Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native development.
• Ability to collaborate with Product, Architecture, and business stakeholders to execute technology roadmaps.
• Experience championing engineering excellence through Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, observability.
• Experience with API lifecycle management including design, security, governance, versioning, and monitoring.
