Job summary

Fivetran is seeking an Engineering Manager for Automations & Internal Tooling to lead a growing team building internal automations and developer tooling. You will shape strategy, prioritize opportunities, and drive scalable, reliable solutions across Engineering and other teams.

You will mentor engineers, participate in architecture decisions, and contribute hands-on when needed to raise the bar on engineering quality and team health. Novi Sad, Serbia-based role.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing software engineers.
• Strong software engineering background with architectural knowledge.
• Able to deliver software projects end to end from problem to rollout.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the engineers building internal automation and tooling.
• Shape strategy and roadmap for engineering automation and internal tools.
• Provide technical leadership through architecture discussions and code reviews.
• Own team execution with focus on reliability and long-term quality.
• Contribute hands-on when valuable to design, prototyping, or coding.
