Job summary

The Davis Companies is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead multiple engineering teams in a growing manufacturing and automation environment. You will shape product development, establish engineering standards, and support ERP initiatives.

You will own budgets and timelines, mentor staff, and collaborate with suppliers and customers to deliver high-quality, scalable automation solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
• 6+ years of engineering experience with progressive leadership responsibility.
• Experience managing engineers and technical teams.
• SAP experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven project management and budgeting skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Drive Engineering Change Management (ECM/ECO) processes and best practices.
• Support and champion SAP implementation initiatives across product lines.
• Develop engineering procedures, standards, and continuous improvement programs.
• Own project budgets, timelines, and resource planning.
• Partner with manufacturing to develop jigs, fixtures, tooling, and assembly solutions.
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet quality, performance, and customer expectations.
• Collaborate with internal Centers of Excellence, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Interface directly with customers to align technical requirements, schedules, and project goals.
• Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent.
