Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. in Nampa, Idaho seeks an Engineering Manager within the Process Control & Reliability team to build and lead a new Greenfield manufacturing operation.

You will establish maintenance practices, develop team capabilities, and create systems to support a growing facility, driving reliability and equipment availability. You will manage a team of technical professionals, work across SEL functions, and influence design and operational excellence for years to

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering field or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• 8+ years of related engineering or management experience.
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead on discipline/technology/process with cost, schedule, and performance goals.
• Assist portfolio planning and long-term strategy.
• Attract, hire, supervise, and develop contributors to meet goals.
• Participate in external meetings and present at internal forums.
• Model SEL Values and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
• Travel and learn during initial facility startup as needed.
