Job summary

Church & Dwight is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead day-to-day technical execution for new product development in an ISO 13485 environment. You will translate strategy into actionable engineering plans, guide a 5–6 person team, and partner with Marketing, Quality, and Operations to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

You will own technical direction, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement in design practices across programs.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; Master’s degree can substitute for up to 3 years of experience (minimum 7 years total).
• 10+ years of product design experience with electromechanical systems.
• Experience designing for high-volume manufacturing and offshore partnerships is a plus.
• Knowledge of plastic molded part design and electromechanical mechanisms is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day technical execution of new product development and sustaining engineering projects.
• Own technical decisions, risk management, and trade-off analysis across programs.
• Direct engineering team of 5–6 engineers; coach and develop staff including performance reviews.
• Serve as engineering point of contact to cross‑functional teams (Marketing, Project Mgmt, Quality, Operations, Compliance).
• Ensure design execution, verification activities, and coordination of internal/external resources.
