FUJIFILM Electronic Materials, U.S.A., Inc. in North Kingstown, RI is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead process optimization and trouble-shooting for high‑purity chemicals used in semiconductor manufacturing.

You will develop engineering talent, manage capital projects, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, partnering with Operations, Quality, and R&D to deliver robust, reliable production.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of engineering experience in chemical manufacturing or semiconductor materials.
• 3–5 years of leadership or supervisory experience managing engineering staff or technical teams.
• Experience supporting complex manufacturing processes, troubleshooting process issues, and implementing process improvements.
• Experience working in high-purity manufacturing environments or within the semiconductor supply chain is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of engineers by setting priorities and providing technical mentorship.
• Provide day-to-day technical leadership for the engineering function in manufacturing operations.
• Oversee process engineering to support safe, reliable production of high-purity chemicals.
• Drive process optimization initiatives for yield, throughput, and cost while maintaining product purity.
• Partner with Operations to troubleshoot issues and implement sustainable improvements.
• Lead or support root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee raw material engineering, supplier engagement, and material qualification.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Quality to ensure supplier performance and product quality.
• Lead capital projects and coordinate with corporate engineering and external vendors.
• Ensure compliance with EH&S regulations and support process safety initiatives.
