Job summary

The ideal candidate has deep experience in injection molding, MIM, CNC, automation, and process validation, with a track record of delivering manufacturable solutions and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or Materials Science.
• 7+ years in injection molding, MIM, CNC, or related process engineering.
• Strong customer interfacing and technical program management experience.
• Direct experience in mold design, CNC fixturing, drawing creation, and process development.
• Proficiency in CAD, GD&T, DFM, FMEA, and validation protocols.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with Project Management to align customer requirements with internal engineering activities.
• Provide timely technical input, updates, and escalation support to Project Management.
• Lead cross-functional reviews to ensure alignment, risks are surfaced, and decisions are timely.
• Directly design, review, and troubleshoot injection molds, CNC fixtures, and automation systems as needed.
• Mentor teammates in mold design and build strategies; guide engineers in DFM and manufacturability checks.
• Manage supplier relationships for tooling, automation, and materials to ensure cost control.
• Track labor hours and costs against forecasts to improve launch discipline and accountability.
