You will recruit, coach, and grow engineers, foster accountability, and drive architecture reviews for scalable design. The role requires 10+ years in software engineering with 2+ years leading teams in an Agile environment,

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering
• 2+ years managing engineering teams in an Agile environment
• Experience with backend: .NET/C#, Kotlin or Java; API design; microservices; distributed systems

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of full stack engineers, setting goals, providing feedback, and clearing roadblocks on complex or escalated issues
• Champion learning and career growth, supporting your team's upward mobility
• Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
• Drive delivery across multiple initiatives, aligning engineering with product goals
• Partner with product managers to refine backlogs, clarify requirements, and prioritize work
• Ensure systems are secure, performant, testable, and observable
• Contribute to architecture and technical reviews with a focus on scalable design
• Recruit, hire, and onboard new team members, setting them up for success
• Partner with leadership to manage budget-aligned business expenses
