Responsibilities

• Возглавлять и развивать сбалансированную команду инженеров: устанавливать ожидания, давать прямую обратную связь, развивать каждого инженера.
• Владеть технической стратегией и дорожной картой команды на несколько кварталов, согласуя её с инициативами по пользовательскому опыту.
• Распространять стандарт качества и дизайна через тех-лида и инженеров, поддерживая технический дизайн и интерфейс между командами.
• Обеспечивать доступность, надежность и производительность потребительских систем, включая режим on-call и реагирование на инциденты.
• Согласование планов с другими организациями и влияние на опыт партнеров и дорожные карты.

• Lead and grow a balanced team of engineers by setting expectations, providing direct feedback, and developing each engineer
• Own the team’s technical strategy and multi-quarter roadmap, aligning it with customer experience initiatives, including large-scale redesigns and improvements to the identity verification journey
• Empower the tech lead and engineers to uphold design and quality standards, supporting technical design and cross-functional alignment
• Own the availability, reliability, and performance of consumer-critical systems, including on-call, incident response, and reducing operational toil
• Drive alignment across organizations and influence partner experience and foundational team roadmaps
• Partner with Product, Design, Analytics, and other Engineering teams on cross-functional efforts

• 7+ Years of software engineering experience
• Proven experience delivering consumer-facing software and driving execution through ambiguity
• Technical judgment to guide architecture, quality, and reliability decisions, and to empower senior engineers to make decisions
• Experience leading significant technical initiatives end-to-end, ideally decoupling or re-platforming consumer-facing systems within clear time constraints
• Ability to build alignment, resolve tensions, and lead others through complex decisions and ambiguity
• A team-first approach to building a high-trust, psychologically safe culture, with commitment to personal growth
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, balancing customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and organizational influence skills
• Ability to build alignment and drive outcomes in complex environments without direct authority
• Equivalent practical experience or a bachelor’s degree in a related field

• Base pay range per year: £142,000 - £190,000
• Equity rewards may be included in the total compensation package
