Job summary

Eltropy Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager for Communications with remote work flexibility. You will lead a 15-engineer team (backend + frontend) building integration layers connecting cloud APIs with legacy banking platforms and fintech ecosystems.

You’ll write and review production code, guide architecture choices, and coach engineers to deliver high-quality outcomes. You’ll drive architecture, scale integrations across diverse systems, and partner with Product and customer teams to

Qualifications

10+ years of software development experience with at least 2 years in hands-on leadership
Experience designing scalable, resilient architectures and building microservices
Strong proficiency in Golang with front-end experience (React/JS)
Fintech or enterprise SaaS experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Lead by example with coding, architecture design and code reviews
Own the integration layer connecting modern APIs to legacy protocols
Champion customer experience by partnering with Product, Implementations and customers
Collaborate with other engineering leaders to ship seamless features across products
Ensure observability, reliability and performance as demand grows
Leverage AI tools to augment SDLC and improve team efficiency
Replace brittle code with modern, maintainable solutions
Grow and inspire the team through mentorship and development
