Job summary

REOTEMP Instrument Corp seeks an experienced engineering leader to drive all engineering functions for thermowells, flushing rings, valves and fabrication opportunities, ensuring designs meet ASME/ANSI/API standards and guiding implementation into manufacturing.

The role requires collaboration with sales, quality and manufacturing, guiding product validation, documentation, and continuous improvement while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 7+ years of engineering experience in process control components.
• Strong knowledge of ASME, ANSI, API, and related codes.
• Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and documentation control.
• Proven track record of bringing engineered products into production.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across sales, quality, and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of thermowell, valve, and related products to meet standards.
• Ensure manufacturing readiness and process integration with ISO/IATF standards.
• Oversee CNC programs, fixtures, and welding processes.
• Support sales with technical quoting and product selection.
• Mentor engineers and machinists to grow the team.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and validation testing.
