Job summary

Ingersoll Rand seeks an experienced Continuous Improvement & Manufacturing Engineer Manager to lead manufacturing engineering, process improvement, and operational excellence within a pressure vessel manufacturing environment. You will partner with Quality, Engineering, and Operations to drive Lean transformations and sustainable manufacturing practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 7 years of manufacturing engineering and/or continuous improvement experience.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Manufacturing Engineering and CI teams to optimize processes and layouts.
• Drive Lean/Six Sigma projects, kaizen events, and waste reduction initiatives.
• Ensure ASME compliance and support quality audits.
• Manage cross-functional projects from concept to implementation.
• Develop metrics, dashboards, and sustainment plans for improvements.
• Mentor and develop engineering personnel and succession plans.
